ABOUT ANNA CASEY
Passionate about strengthening healthy families, Anna has worked with families for over twenty-five years. Through her experiences as an educator of young children, an admissions officer, a parenting blogger, and as a parent herself, Anna recognized the need for parents to receive guidance and support in their parenting, one of the most challenging and important jobs we do.
Anna grew up in a blended family of five children and attended public schools in the suburbs of New York City. She graduated with a Bachelor's degree in English from Colby College and received her M.Ed. from Lesley College. Anna has had the opportunity to teach children and support parents in schools in Massachusetts, Georgia, Connecticut, and Colorado.
Anna lives in Denver, Colorado with her husband, a child psychologist, and her 16 year old daughter. She is adjusting to having her 19 year old son live in Massachusetts to attend college. Anna enjoys reading, baking, walking and spending time with her family on Cape Cod.
My goal in our work together is to support you by sharing my knowledge as an educator while coaching you in uncovering your own beliefs to guide you in making healthy parenting decisions.
Sharing a common experience, seeing the silver lining, or even finding humor in a tough situation allows me to build a relaxed rapport with parents that leads toward conversations built on trust and mutual respect. As your coach, I will utilize my experience as an educator and as a parent to support you as you discover your own balanced perspective on parenting which will in turn support your child and strengthen your family.
